Innerself is your connection with yourself, including how you understand and care for yourself.

Interpersonal skills help you build friendships and work as part of a team.

Interconnectedness is the awareness that we are all connected and that our actions can impact the world and those around us. We make responsible decisions for the joy of all. You are doing an excellent job at this!

You know that we are interconnected with the land and those who cared for this land before us. This land supplies us with everything we need to survive and you give thanks by spreading seeds of love for all living beings to enjoy. 

Building a relationship with your innerself helps strengthen all your relationships, including your interpersonal skills that will allow you to build positive relationships and take care of problems when they come up. 

 

Guidance for Bamboo

A way you can cultivate wellness is by caring for your body and practicing self-love. Start by drinking plenty of water daily and taking five minutes a day to write about anything you are feeling. These missions can help you learn more about yourself and what you love to do. 

Let your connection with the land and living things be your guide for how to treat others. 

 

Journal & Draw: Describe yourself or draw a self-portrait: What are you most proud of about yourself? How do you impact your family and community? What are your strengths and unique qualities?

Meditate: Pick a song that brings you calm or brings you joy. Close your eyes as you listen to this song. Picture yourself in your mind as you close your eyes, and notice what you do in this version of yourself: are you dancing, are you at peace, are you with your friends? Take the length of this song to appreciate and love on yourself!

Connect: Play a song that makes you feel empowered or joyful. Play this song as you stand in the mirror. For the length of this song: notice three things that you love about yourself, name three things that make you unique, and name three things that you are growing in! Dance and shout with joy!
